LOOKING FORWARD NUTLEY CANDIDATE SLATE

A slate is a group of candidates that run in multi-seat elections on a common platform. For example, this November, the Nutley Board of Education election has six candidates running for 3 vacancies. Two of the candidates, Andrea Podgarsky and Laura Valente, are running on the Looking Forward Nutley slate.

Voting for candidates in unison on a single slate has a reinforcing effect for strong, aligned voices. However, slates do not require voting for all the candidates running together.

Although the Looking Forward Nutley slate is listed last on the ballot, Andrea and Laura always will put our children’s best interests first if seated as Board of Ed Trustees.
